Michael F. Hervey

Michael is an attorney licensed in Michigan, and currently practices in the area of No-Fault Insurance Litigation.  

Michael is a Military Veteran, having served as an active-duty U.S. Army Infantryman from 2003 to 2007.  During his military service, Michael was twice deployed to Iraq in support of Operation Iraqi Freedom.  Michael was awarded the Purple Heart Medal for injuries received in combat operations.

Prior to law school, Michael attended The State University of New York at Buffalo, where he studied Political Science and Pre-Law.  Michael also rowed on the University’s Men’s Rowing Crew Team, competing is events such as the Head of the Schuylkill and Dad Vail Regattas.  Michael graduated with academic distinction in 2014. 

Michael obtained his Juris Doctor from Vermont Law School in 2018.  During law school, Michael was a member of the Vermont Journal of Environmental Law as a staff editor, and served as the student representative on the School’s Curriculum and Code of Conduct Committee boards.  Michael has held internships at the Washington County State’s Attorney Office in Vermont, the Vermont Network Against Domestic and Sexual Violence, and engaged in criminal defense for the indigent at the law firm Marsicovetere & Levine, PC.   

Since Michael’s admission to the bar in 2018, he has focused on civil litigation representing personal injury victims and medical service providers in No-Fault Insurance actions, and previously practiced in the area of Corporate Creditor’s Rights.  Michael is a member of the State Bar of Michigan and the Michigan Association for Justice.  

Michael enjoys spending time with his wife, their dog, and their two cats.  He also enjoys a strenuous hike and occasionally “dabbles” in carpentry.
